Awhile ago, we went to Central Elementary and had our family pictures taken that were way over due. We try to go every 1 or 2 years, but sometimes... we forget. We decided we had better get some pictures this year, because we have no family pictures with Lexi in them since she came along.
This summer, we decided Mitch and Alyssa needed something to do. They got the brilliant idea, along with their dad, to do some pigs for 4-H. So, we've been having "fun" getting ready for them. We have even had to build a pen! We did get the pigs last Monday from Allen's cousin, two big red pigs, and two little white pigs. You have to admit, they are cute! We've also found that Lexi loves them. She'll walk out and just laugh at the pigs running around "grunting" and "oinking". We're hoping that this project all works out for the fair so the kids may earn some money... after they pay their parents back! :)
Well, to start off, we're still alive! Although it has been a while since we last updated this, a lot has happened. Football, basketball, holidays, and family (etc...), we're still about the same as we were 3 months ago. These are just a couple of things that have happened...
Our dog, Coda, has been looking a little scraggly this winter. So, Allen decided to give him a haircut with a pair of old scissors that his sister gave him. Coda sat quite still through it for it being his first time ever to get a haircut. :) We only got his head done, but we're planning on getting the rest of his body!
